My favourite project highlight

At the end of one project we gave the team at Clydesdale Yorkshire Banking Group a toolbox – a proper great big physical box. We’d taken out the spanners and hammer so that we could fill it with all the things they were going to need to build this particular idea we’d be working on. It had everything from copies of journey maps, post-it notes, sharpies, even a bottle of whisky for them to toast launch with. I went back a few weeks later and the boxes were in use in all of the project rooms – and launch had certainly been toasted.

My top innovation

Graphene – too much talk of innovation at the moment is all about pixels. You can already make fishing rods (http://g-rods.com/) out of graphene for a start. But, obviously, the potential is massive.
